1. Service Provider
The cooking classes, accommodation and related experiences offered through this website are provided and sold by:
AZ. AGR. S.ULIVIERI DI GANOZZI ALESSANDRO
Sant’Ulivieri is responsible for providing the booked services and for managing customer reservations.
2. Booking
Bookings may be submitted through the online booking system available on this website.
After submitting a booking request, the customer may receive an automatic acknowledgement confirming that the request has been received.
A booking is not considered confirmed while its status is Pending.
The booking becomes confirmed only after it has been reviewed and approved by Sant’Ulivieri and the customer receives the corresponding confirmation.
Sant’Ulivieri reserves the right to decline a booking request where the requested date, time, number of participants, accommodation availability or other booking conditions cannot be accommodated.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information when submitting a booking request.
3. Prices
Prices displayed on the website are expressed in euros (€).
Unless otherwise stated during the booking process, the displayed price is the total price payable for the selected service.
For multi-day experiences or packages including accommodation, the price includes only the services expressly listed in the relevant offer.
Any optional extras, transfers or additional services not included in the stated price will be communicated separately where applicable.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise stated during the booking process, no payment is charged at the time the booking request is submitted.
Payment is made directly to Sant’Ulivieri.
Payment may be made using the payment methods communicated by Sant’Ulivieri.
5. Payment Card Guarantee
A valid payment card may be required in order to guarantee the booking.
Payment card information is securely processed through Stripe.
Full card details are not stored on this website.
Where the card is requested solely as a booking guarantee, no amount is charged at the time the booking request is submitted.
Providing a payment card guarantee does not by itself confirm the booking.
The booking remains Pending until it is reviewed and approved by Sant’Ulivieri.
The card may only be charged in accordance with the cancellation and no-show conditions described below.
6. Cancellation by the Customer
Customers may cancel their confirmed booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the booked service, unless different cancellation conditions are expressly stated for a specific package or multi-day experience.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, 100% of the total booking amount may be charged.
Cancellations should be communicated as soon as possible using the contact details provided on the website or in the booking confirmation.
The relevant cancellation time is the time at which Sant’Ulivieri receives the cancellation request.
7. No-Show
If the customer does not attend the booked service and has not cancelled within the applicable free cancellation period, the booking will be considered a no-show.
In the event of a no-show, 100% of the total booking amount may be charged to the payment method provided as a booking guarantee.
8. Late Arrival
Customers are requested to arrive at the agreed location at the scheduled time.
In the event of a late arrival, Sant’Ulivieri will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the customer where possible.
However, a significant delay may result in a shortened experience or, where participation is no longer reasonably possible, may be treated in accordance with the applicable no-show conditions.
9. Changes to the Number of Participants
Any request to change the number of participants is subject to availability and should be communicated as soon as possible.
A reduction in the number of participants communicated more than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be accepted without penalty.
Reductions communicated less than 48 hours before the experience may be subject to the same cancellation conditions applicable to individual participants.
Any increase in the number of participants is subject to availability and confirmation by Sant’Ulivieri.
10. Accommodation and Multi-Day Experiences
Where a booking includes accommodation or a multi-day experience, the customer is responsible for reviewing the specific services included in the relevant offer.
Such services may include, depending on the package:
- accommodation;
- breakfast or meals;
- cooking classes;
- wine or olive oil tastings;
- local visits or activities;
- transfers or transportation where expressly included.
Only services specifically listed in the booking confirmation are included in the booked package.
Any additional services requested by the customer may be subject to separate availability and charges.
11. Check-In and Check-Out
Where accommodation is included, check-in and check-out times will be communicated in the booking confirmation or directly by Sant’Ulivieri.
Customers should inform Sant’Ulivieri in advance if they expect to arrive significantly later than the agreed check-in time.
12. Cancellation or Changes by Sant’Ulivieri
In the unlikely event that Sant’Ulivieri is unable to provide the booked service, the customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, Sant’Ulivieri may offer:
- an alternative date or time;
- an equivalent service or experience;
- an alternative arrangement;
- cancellation of the booking without charge.
If any amount has already been charged for a service cancelled by Sant’Ulivieri and no acceptable alternative is agreed, the relevant amount will be refunded.
13. Weather and External Conditions
Some activities may depend on weather, road, agricultural or other external conditions.
Where such conditions make an activity unsafe or impracticable, Sant’Ulivieri may modify the schedule, replace the affected activity with a suitable alternative or, where necessary, cancel the relevant part of the experience.
Any applicable refund or alternative arrangement will depend on the specific circumstances and the services affected.
14. Dietary Requirements and Allergies
Customers should communicate any food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements when submitting the booking request or as soon as possible afterwards.
Sant’Ulivieri will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements communicated in advance.
Customers with serious or potentially life-threatening allergies should contact Sant’Ulivieri before participating so that the suitability of the experience can be assessed.
Unless expressly confirmed otherwise, it may not be possible to guarantee the complete absence of traces of allergens in an environment where different ingredients are prepared and handled.
15. Responsibility of Participants
Participants are expected to follow reasonable instructions provided by Sant’Ulivieri staff, particularly instructions relating to:
- kitchen equipment;
- food preparation;
- farm or outdoor areas;
- accommodation facilities;
- safety.
Sant’Ulivieri may refuse or discontinue participation where a person’s behaviour creates a significant safety risk to themselves, staff, property or other participants.
16. Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings during cooking classes, stays and other activities.
Sant’Ulivieri is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
17. Right of Withdrawal
Cooking classes and other leisure-related services offered through this website are generally booked for a specific date or period.
Accordingly, where the statutory conditions are met, the general 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance contracts does not apply to these bookings.
The cancellation conditions set out in these Terms therefore apply.
18. Personal Data
Personal data provided in connection with a booking are processed in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy.
Information regarding cookies and similar technologies is available in the website’s Cookie Policy.
19. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to the customer under applicable law.
